Sailing Adventures

First of all, please have a look at the portfolio section, where we just added the profile of the 105ft sailing yacht concept ‘Here Be Dragons’.

Originally Christian Leyk was sketching up this cruiser / racer sailing yacht for the day far away in the future when he would retire and set sails for travelling around the world instead… as if designers like him would ever stop designing! However, being just around the 100ft mark this sailing yacht is just the right size between a handsome cruiser and a serious racer, so he might not be the only one interested in this concept.

The picture above of course shows of course a very different moment of sailing (one that you don’t want to encounter with a 105ft yacht!), taken a long time ago in Senegal. A gust of wind caught the sailor unaware and the little Hobie nearly went over…
