“I can outrun Imperial starships. Not the local bulk cruisers, mind you, I’m talking about the big Corellian ships.”

Some people argue that it’s odd that while the universe is so big, it seems as if all the best ships are coming from one place…. We have to admit we don’t even know who designed and engineered those intergalactic star destroyers, X-wings, Tie-fighters or even the legendary Millennium Falcon, but it’s not so odd to us. There aren’t that many places you might go to when looking for a place to build a big yacht, and even the number of yacht design studios isn’t endless.

That’s not to say there’s no room for a new kid on the block, particularly one that comes with many years of experience and such a broad spectrum as coquine![design]. Just saying, no bragging. As a matter of fact, we don’t think we’re really new in this game. We just wanted to take the opportunity to let everybody know we’re here and we’re ready.

Coming to “Corallium”, or latest doodle. We hope you like it. Sleek hull, long sweeping curves. Low volume and a well balanced superstructure, it should have all the right ingredients. She does, however, have a few tricks up her sleeve, such as the raised aft deck to allow for a class leading beach club. We then moved the saloon to the deck above, reserving the main deck for the guest cabins. Forward there’s a sheltered, more private terrace in front of a split level owner’s suite.

On the top deck you’ll find the bridge and a sky lounge to the aft. We know that there’s a tendency to push the wheel house down these days, but we believe this works better and who’s to say you cannot stay up there to enjoy the views? Before you ask…. we called it ‘Corallium’ for the rich, dark red accents on her superstructure. It sounds quite similar to ‘Corellian’, but we swear that wasn’t on purpose.
